The last week has been quite a ride for South Carolina gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley, who faces two allegations of extramarital affairs. And it looks like her journey to secure the GOP nomination isn’t over yet. The Tea Party favorite captured 48 percent of the vote, meaning she will face Gresham Barrett, a GOP congressman who carried 21 percent of the vote. The winner will face Vincent Sheheen, who clinched the Democratic nomination in a run-off Tuesday night, winning 58 percent. In the House race, Rep. Bob Inglis will also face a runoff, against Trey Gowdy, Spartanburg County Solicitor, on June 22, as neither candidate secured 50 percent of the vote as well.
