The ugly backlash against health-care reform hasn’t quite subsided: A father and son have been arrested for threatening the life of Michigan Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak for voting in favor of health-care reform. Russell Hesch, 73, and David Hesch, 50, are charged with conspiracy to threaten assault, kidnap, or murder a U.S. official and face five years in prison. In a threatening letter to Stupak, they wrote that they would “paint the Mackinaw Bridge with the blood of you and your family members.”
