The age of "Aquarius" is coming to an end: Producers for the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair announced Wednesday that show will be closing. The show's run will come to an end July 27 at Broadway's Hirschfield Theater after winning both a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award in 2009 for Best Revival of a Musical. Hair, a rock musical about the 1960s hippie counterculture and sexual revolution, once brought hits like "Let the Sun Shine In" to big audiences—playing above 80 percent capacity as of February. But when original cast members left the Broadway stage in early March for an adaptation in London's West End, attendance plummeted. For those who missed out on Hair, however, the production begins its first national tour in October.
