Officials at Arlington Cemetery are under scrutiny about the confusion surrounding the identities of at least 211 bodies buried there. Army Secretary John McHugh announced that the top two officials leading America's hallowed resting place have been forced to leave, and a more thorough examination is planned with the new management. Army officials reported that there have been problems with the cemetery record-keeping for years, but it wasn't until November, after it was discovered that cemetery workers had buried someone on top of somebody else's remains, that an investigation was undertaken. "This is the place where valor rests, a place of reverence and respect for all Americans," McHugh said when he ordered the probe. "As the final resting place of our nation's heroes, any questions about the integrity or accountability of its operations should be examined in a manner befitting their service and sacrifice."
