Carly Fiorina, the woman who injected the phrase "demon sheep" into the American lexicon, may be missing two words from her own vocabulary: "I'm sorry." On Sunday, California's Republican Senate candidate admitted to Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace that she "regretted" criticizing Barbara Boxer's hairstyle last week, but evaded questions on whether she'll call Boxer to personally apologize. "I regret this whole situation," she said, "I gave people the opportunity to talk about something petty and superficial, and this is a very serious election year about serious issues." She instead turned the incident on its head and used the air time to campaign even further, citing her "commitment to stay focused on the facts, on issues and on the things that really matter," promising, "I will keep that commitment to the voters." She also touched upon social issues such as abortion and her tenure at Hewlett-Packard.
