Does this mean the whole thing is going to break into a Bollywood-style dance sequence at the end? Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle has been tapped to direct the opening ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics. And, even though he has already said it will not be on the same massive scale as Beijing’s ceremony, he promised it would provide a "genuine and personal welcome." Boyle has lived in the section of east London where the games will be held and said he jumped at the chance to organize the show, which he will begin doing early next year. He has not offered many hints as to what will be included, though he specified "zombies would not be running around on stage." The budget for the program, which will take place in the 80,000-seat main stadium, is around $60 million.
