In hopes of decreasing his one-year prison sentence, Lil’ Wayne has changed his plea for 2008 guns and drugs charges to “guilty.” The "Young Money" rapper was charged in 2008 when Arizona border patrol found cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun aboard his tour bus. Wayne initially pleaded “not guilty” to the charges but was sentenced to one year on Riker’s Island, where he is currently serving out his sentence. With the current plea, he could receive up to 36 months of probation after leaving prison.
