On the second day of his three-day trip to the U.S., Prince Harry took up a very American pastime, throwing out the first pitch at the Mets game. He arrived at West Point by helicopter on Friday, joining the cadets for some shooting exercises and showing off the experience he earned in 10 weeks on the frontlines of Afghanistan, prompting one of the colonels to say, “He clearly knows what he’s doing.” The prince will also show his support for the military by playing in a polo match Sunday to raise money for American Friends of Sentebale, which is the American branch of his charity benefitting at-risk children in the African country Lesotho. The prince plans to round out his visit to the city with a walk with wounded veterans through Central Park on Sunday.
