The economy and the war in Afghanistan are both bound to get worse, voters tell The Wall Street Journal and NBC News in a new poll. Faith in the economy has tumbled, with nearly two-thirds saying things aren’t improving, while 53 percent said the same thing in January. Both political parties are low in voters’ eyes, with the Republicans receiving an approval rating of 24 percent, the lowest number since the Journal began its survey two decades ago. Less than half of Americans—47 percent—say that they approve of President Obama’s job in office.
