WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said on Wednesday that the Pentagon has signaled to him willingness to review the remaining classified documents in order to make sure they’re scrubbed of information that could harm Afghan civilians. "This week we received contact through our lawyers that the General Counsel" of the Pentagon "says now that they want to discuss the issue," Assange tells the Associated Press. However, the Pentagon is denying Assange’s claim: “Any allegations that we are somehow involved in the redaction or review of the material, we flatly deny,” said one spokesman.
