Looks can be deceiving: According to computer-security company McAfee, Inc., Cameron Diaz is currently the most dangerous celebrity on the Internet, with one in 10 websites featuring Diaz containing software meant to infect or steal data from computers. “They know that people want to have screensavers of popular individuals,” said Dave Marcus, director of security research at McAfee Labs, of the Internet software predators. “They follow hot topics on the Web and create their poisonous content accordingly.” Jessica Biel, who topped last year’s list, fell to third, followed by Gisele Bundchen, Brad Pitt, former Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Heidi Klum, and Penelope Cruz. In total, the study found six million unique pieces of malicious software. “That’s about 60,000 pieces per day,” said Marcus. “It’s a big, honkin’, onerous number.”
