On Friday, at least 71 inmates escaped a jail in Reynosa, a Mexican city near the border town of McAllen, Texas. This comes just three days after a new head of public safety took office in Tamaulipas state. The same prison was also the site of a jailbreak on April 4, in which 13 prisoners broke free when gunmen stormed the building. Local authorities are investigating the bust.
