Live by the Tea Party, die by the Tea Party: If Tea Partiers Christine O’Donnell and Ovide Lamontagne upset their moderate Republican opponents in Delaware and New Hampshire, respectively, in Tuesday’s primaries, the GOP’s chances of taking over the Senate will be cut in half, according to Nate Silver. If they win, he puts the odds of a GOP Senate takeover at 16 percent; if their opponents win, he puts it at 30 percent. O’Donnell’s opponent, Rep. Mike Castle, complains to Politico, "This has been a complete out-of-state operation, a political action committee from California, a couple of people from Washington, D.C., and that's it. It's not been a local campaign. It's not had local donations.”
