Simon Doonan takes to the web pages of Slate Thursday to condemn the end of bitchiness in the fashion industry. Using the always glistening Karl Lagerfield as his lodestar, Doonan, a Daily Beast contributor, says fashion has lost its way. “The Fashion World is assumed, by an increasingly style-obsessed public, to be an intimidating hornets' nest of snarky asides and venomous back-biting,” Doonan writes.
