Arrested Development fans waiting for the rumored big screen adaptation of the Fox cult-followed series are hoping to be satiated by Tuesday’s premiere of Running Wilde, which reunites Development actor Will Arnett and writer and executive producer Mitch Hurwitz. The new Fox series stars Arnett (who played Gob Bluth) as Steve Wilde, a rich oil tycoon who reconnects with his childhood love Emily Kadubic (Keri Russell) when she tries to convince him to call off drilling in the Peruvian rainforest, where she’s been studying an isolated tribe with her pre-teen daughter Puddle (Stefania Owen). Though the show has been earning less than stellar reviews, Hurwitz offers some condolences. In an interview with Collider.com, he said the script for the Arrested Development movie is halfway done and is confident the Bluths will come together. “I think everybody just wants to play together,” Hurwitz said. “There have been no fall-outs. It was a delightful group."
