Always one to shock with her fashion choices, Lady Gaga’s MTV meat dress—one of her most outrageous, PETA-enraging outfits—will be preserved and saved. “The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky’ and will be archived,” designer Franc Fernandez told E! Online. The avant-garde pop superstar first donned a more revealing version of the meat dress on the cover of Vogues Hommes Japan in early September, and later updated the creation, transforming it into an evening look for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. And don’t expect Gaga—or anyone else, for that matter—to don the fleshy look again. “There's not going to be meat dresses in the future,” said Fernandez. “This was made for a specific purpose. It's what it is.”
