Hoping to return to some of the magic of young people’s involvement in the 2008 presidential campaign and election, President Barack Obama drew thousands of college students at a rally in Madison, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night. With polls and surveys showing young people are less likely to turn out in the midterm elections this November than did in 2008, Obama has been trying to energize the youth vote. “I don’t know about you, but I’m fired up,” he told the roaring crowd. Obama continued his campaign strategy of taking on the Republican leadership, but Tuesday’s rally marked a change in his style from small fundraisers to large crowds that helped energize so many voters in 2008. He challenged the college crowd by telling them that "They are basically saying you are apathetic, you are disappointed."
