A train crash in Indonesia has killed at least 36 people and injured 40 more, while some bodies are still trapped in the mangled cars. A train originating in Jakarta smashed into another train sitting at the Petarukan station, most likely due to an error in the signaling system, officials said. The first train was going at high speed when the accident happened at 3 a.m. local time Saturday. Train crashes are common in Indonesia, and are often caused by a poorly maintained rail system.
