What you know about that? After talking a suicidal man down from a 22-story apartment building in Atlanta, rapper T.I. has denied claims that the act was merely a publicity stunt on the heels of his court date. “This is not something I could have planned,” the 30-year-old rapper said. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, drove to the scene after hearing about it on the radio. He recorded a video of himself on a mobile phone which he showed to the unnamed man, who then agreed to come down to speak with him. Incidentally, T.I. is due in court on Friday for a parole hearing after he and his wife were arrested in September on suspicion of possessing ecstasy. The rapper is also on probation after serving several months in prison last year for possessing illegal weapons. However, he insisted his looming court case played no role in his act of heroism. “My situation never even became a thought in my mind in the process of dealing with this,” he said. “It was just something that touched my heart.”
