Christine O’Donnell’s copy of Barack Obama’s playbook must be missing a few pages. Like Obama, O’Donnell has created a 30-minute ad to show before Tuesday’s election; unlike Obama, she did not purchase advance time on Philadelphia and Delaware networks, which were unable to air the ad on such short notice. So she arranged to show it on public access at 11:30 on Sunday night. “1 minute until the premiere of our 30 minute feature,” she tweeted Sunday night, followed by “Okay … this is NOT our show. Must be a programming mix up.” The public-access channel “forgot to air it,” a source tells The Washington Post. O’Donnell’s campaign then said that the ad would air at 10 a.m. on Monday on public access, but again it didn’t air. “This isn’t our show either! We are told channel 28 ‘forgot’ to air it…both times…even though we paid for the time slot last week,” O’Donnell tweeted Monday. It is supposed to air again at 3 p.m. Monday.
