Jackson 5 To Launch Clothing Line

The Jackson empire continues to expand: The Jackson 5 will launch a clothing line this spring, WWD reported Monday. Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy Jackson will launch a line called J5, which will be sold at stores like Urban Outfitters and Kitson. The line will incorporate classic designs, such as jackets inspired by Michael’s looks in iconic music videos “Thriller” and “Beat It.” There will also be a series of T-shirts retailing for between $32 and $58. The brothers have reportedly been working on the line since MJ’s funeral, and say that the project serves as a tribute to the late pop icon. Said Jackie Jackson of the clothes: “They represent everything he stood for and everything he’s done in this industry, 100 percent.”
