Robert De Niro will be honored with the annual lifetime achievement award, the Cecil B. DeMille, at the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press announced on Tuesday. De Niro, who has appeared in more than 70 films and earned Oscars for his roles in The Godfather, Part II and Raging Bull, has already received the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award and a Kennedy Center Honor. The 68th Golden Globes will held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Jan. 16 and broadcast on NBC. De Niro’s latest movie, Little Fockers, comes out nationwide on Dec. 22.
