Not this again: Ireland is in talks with the European Union for a financial rescue, according to Reuters. If it gets a rescue package, it will be the second euro-zone country, after Greece, to be bailed out by its neighbors. Spokesman for the Irish government tell Reuters that no such talks are under way, but multiple euro-zone sources tell the newswire that it’s “very likely” that Ireland will be rescued. Ireland has been struggling to borrow money due to its huge public debt, much of which stems from its own bailout of the country's banking sector.
