At long last! Apple is set to announce Tuesday that their online music store, iTunes, will include music from The Beatles. The delicate deal was arranged between Apple, representatives of The Beatles, and their record label, EMI Group Ltd., after decades of lawsuits and negotiations. If all goes well, music from the Beatles will be available on the largest music retailer in the world, but representatives from each of these groups still say there is a chance Apple may back out at the last minute. Since 1978, Apple and The Beatles have been butting heads, with the band claiming that the computer giant infringed on the copyright for their companies, called Apple Corps Ltd. and Apple Records. The band even printed the Apple logo on an album. Details of the deal have yet to be revealed.
