At what point has this gone too far? Breast-cancer survivor Cathy Bossi, a flight attendant for 32 years, was forced by airport security to remove and show a TSA agent her prosthetic breast at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. "She put her full hand on my breast and said, 'What is this?'” said Bossi. "And I said, 'It's my prosthesis because I've had breast cancer.' And she said, 'Well, you'll need to show me that.'" Bossi called the experience “horrific,” insisting there are better and less-intrusive ways to conduct security checks. A TSA representative said agents are allowed to see and touch passengers’ prostheses, but not to remove it. Bossi has contacted her union's legislative affairs team for assistance.
