Presumably this wasn’t one of the “risks” in the job description: Bank of America Chief Risk Officer Bruce Thompson is leading a team of 15 to 20 top bank officials in a broad internal investigation in preparation for the dump of internal BofA documents promised by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. They’re trying to figure out what information might become public, plus looking for missing computers and security breaches. CEO Brian Moynihan receives regular reports about the team’s progress; the bank has also hired consultants Booz Allen Hamilton to help with the review.
