Eliot Spitzer may soon need another leading lady: CNN executives are rumored to be considering replacing columnist Kathleen Parker, the conservative half of the network's prime-time show Parker Spitzer, because they are unhappy with the debate. "We still think that form of show is the right idea for a network like CNN at 8 o'clock, but the execution has not been what we have been happy with up to date," Chief Executive Phil Kent said. He said they are working to improve the show, which he said is already "smart." CNN has been ailed by plummeting ratings, and Parker Spitzer was the first part of its turnaround strategy. But the show only averages 468,000 viewers, while in the same time slot Fox News gets 2.6 million viewers and MSNBC gets 874,000.
