The second major snowstorm of the season hit the Northeastern U.S. Wednesday, dropping nearly a foot of snow in the New York City area, four to eight inches in Philadelphia, up to 16 inches in the Boston area, and over 30 inches possible in parts of Connecticut. While the snow has cause massive flight cancellations and traffic impediments across New England, this storm will be New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's chance to redeem himself after this winter's first paralyzing blizzard.
