Well, that’s one response to being called an a------. Glee creator Ryan Murphy called the Kings of Leon “self-centered a-------” in an interview for refusing to let the show do an a cappella version of “Use Somebody.” The band’s drummer Nathan Followill fired back via Twitter. “See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra,” he tweeted. “Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say f---,” Followill continued in response to Murphy’s interview, in which he said, “F--- you, Kings of Leon.” Murphy said that the band “missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument.” Followill later deleted the comments directed toward Murphy from his Twitter page and apologized. “I'm sorry 4 anyone that misconstrued my comments as homophobic or misogynistic,” he tweeted. “I'm so not that kind of person. I really do apologize.”
