How did this happen? A grand piano is idling on its own on a sand bar in Biscayne Bay, just south of Miami. No one knows how the piano, which could weigh up to 650 lbs., landed there. It was strategically placed at the highest point of the sand bar though, so it is not submerged in water when the tide comes in. The piano is currently being used as a landing spot for seagulls, but onlookers aren't sure if the instrument is in good condition or not. Florida Fish and Wildlife say they can't move it since it is not posing a threat to wildlife and it's not their responsibility--the same goes for marine patrol and the fire and rescue department.
