The protests in Egypt may hit their peak on Friday: The Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s largest opposition group, will enter the action on Friday by joining protests. According to its website, the Brotherhood will unite “with all the national Egyptian forces, the Egyptian people, so that this coming Friday will be the general day of rage for the Egyptian nation.” Sources are reporting that the government has shut down the Internet, as the country braces for the demonstration. Mohamed ElBaradei, a Nobel laureate and democracy advocate, also returned to the country on Thursday.
