Groupon may be one of the most buzzed about companies around, but someone needs to teach them how to cut an ad: The online coupon company—which is expecting a $15 billion IPO—offended some Super Bowl viewers with a glib ad about Tibet. It began with the actor Timothy Hutton intoning about “the people of Tibet are in trouble. Their very culture is in jeopardy. But they still whip up an amazing fish curry.
