It's a win for oversharers everywhere: The National Labor Relations Board has settled a complaint with a Connecticut ambulance company that fired an employee for badmouthing her boss on Facebook. The company agreed to revise its rules to acknowledge that it cannot fire or discipline employees from discussing their jobs on the Internet when they are not at work. The NLRB filed suit on the employee's behalf last October, claiming that the company's policy infringed on worker's free speech rights to discuss their jobs with co-workers. The case has been closely monitored because of its implications for the way employees are monitored online.
