A New York City Little League coach who had once been named “Coach of the Year” was charged Wednesday with sexually abusing boys from July 2009 until late last month. David Hartshorn, 54, fainted in Queens Criminal Court as the charges were read, including forcing young boys into sexual acts and then filming it and molesting three 13- and 14-year-old boys. Police said they found video evidence of the abuse as well as a stash of kiddie porn. Hartshorn faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted, and was denied bail. Authorities say the coach was previously arrested on charges of sodomy and promoting the sexual performance of a child, but it's not clear if the arrest would've shown up on a background check because it was more than 20 years old. A lawyer for Hartshorn did not return calls seeking comment.
