The oft-beleaguered Lindsay Lohan, who is currently in hot legal water over her reported theft of a $2,500 necklace, was allegedly going to make her fifth appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show on CBS to read his nightly “Top 10” list. However, after Lohan tweeted that she never agreed to do the show, Letterman’s camp issued a retraction Wednesday saying someone “purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s” reached out to them to book her on the show, and that she would no longer be appearing. TMZ has revealed that Michael Lohan, the actress’ father, is the alleged person who booked her on the show, claiming she “knew full well” about the booking, and that all was well until her representatives nixed the appearance.
