After revealing on 60 Minutes that was he sexually assaulted by a camp counselor as a child, Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown has told a prosecutor he doesn't want to seek criminal charges against his alleged abuser. The area's D.A. recently reported the news to The Boston Globe, saying he will respect Brown's wishes to not launch an investigation. Set for release on Monday, Brown's book Against All Odds chronicles the hardships and physical abuse he suffered as a child and young man. In a statement late Friday, Brown said he didn't write about what happened to him "to settle any scores" but to prove to people that they can overcome adversities and move on from the past.
