It wasn’t a very well-kept secret, but, following a DJ set from Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D at Rain nightclub inside Las Vegas’ Palms Casino and Resort on Friday night, a montage of Britney Spears’ best video moments played to the crowd. Then, the pop star herself took the stage in her first performance since 2009. Previewing tracks off her upcoming album, Femme Fatale, Spears initially sported a sequined bodysuit for the first song of the night, “Hold It Against Me,” before changing into a body-hugging latex bodysuit for the second ditty, “Big Fat Bass,” remixing the song to include past hits like “3,” “I’m a Slave 4 U,” and “Gimme More.” Then came the finale—fan favorite “Till the World Ends”—which saw Spears rocking a black latex bodysuit covered in red lights. Throughout the night, the pop star flaunted a series of sexy dance moves, and her fans reportedly loved every minute of it. The performance was being taped for an MTV special airing next week.
