A former Russian special-operations soldier accused of killing his wife and daughter in Brooklyn before fleeing to his homeland is unlikely to be brought back: The U.S. lacks a formal extradition treaty with Russia, and Russian law prevents citizens from being sent abroad for prosecution. The man, Nikolai Rakossi, is believed to have stabbed to death his girlfriend, Tatyana Prikhodko, 56, and her beautiful 28-year-old daughter Larisa. Rakossi boarded a plane to Russia on Sunday, less than five hours before the bodies were discovered.
