Prince William and Kate Middleton made a visit to Princess Diana’s tomb with just about a week to go before their marriage, the Daily Mirror reported. Diana is buried on a tiny island known as The Oval on the grounds of the Spencer family’s 14,000 acre Althorp Estate. The couple took a boat to the tiny island where they paid tribute to Diana and laid flowers. A source said that it is very important for Kate “to be able to share and understand William’s love and grief for his mum.” William wants to make Diana as much a part of the wedding as possible. Of giving Kate Diana’s engagement ring, he said it’s “my way of making sure my mother didn’t miss out on today and the excitement.” Kate is already facing constant comparisons to William’s late mother and has said that “she’s obviously an inspirational woman to look up to.”
