Sorry, football fans, the NFL lockout is back on again. The U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals granted the football league's request for a temporary stay of the injunction issued Monday by a U.S. district judge to end the 45-day lockout. The NFL, fighting with players over how to split the league's $9.3 billion in revenue, is appealing the district judge's decision and wants the lockout to remain in place while their appeal is decided. Jim Quinn, an attorney for the players, said the stay was “totally expected.” Players got a glimpse of normalcy on Friday, when teams opened their doors, welcomed back players, allowed workouts, and even distributed playbooks. "Looks like we're unemployed again,” tweeted New York Jets receiver Braylon Edwards at the news of the reinstated lockout.
