Gaddafi forces continued their assault on the rebel stronghold of Misrata on Saturday. It was the second attack by Gaddafi in two nights, targeting the city's fuel terminal and starting a massive fire that crews are still fighting to keep from engulfing other nearby tanks. At least one tank was struck by at least one rocket, which caused an explosion that set fire to three other tanks. The effects of the strategic attack on the city's fuel supply were not immediately analyzed, but Misrata has not received new sources of fuel since the rebel uprising began in February. Other fuel tanks in the city remain intact, but the terminal's director was instructed by rebel officials not to reveal exactly how much fuel remains in the city. "We do have fuel," he said. "But we do not have enough." Gas prices are still relatively low, indicating that the situation is not too dire. Other good news: Officials said no one firefighters or civilians were wounded during the attacks or rescue efforts.
