It’s becoming clearer and clearer: Facebook will always find a way to tag those embarrassing photos of you. The security firm Sophos on Tuesday issued a warning to the social-networking site about the new facial-recognition software launched in December in the U.S., saying it violates privacy because the system was enabled without asking users. Facebook uses the technology to prompt your friends to tag you—meaning that photos of you are more likely to be tagged, because a notification pops up suggesting who is in the photo.
