Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse for Rep. Anthony Weiner. The congressman admitted Friday night to having online communication with a Delaware high-school student, but insisted there was nothing “explicit or indecent.” The statement from Weiner’s office came after Fox News reported Delaware police are investigating the direct messages on Twitter that Weiner allegedly sent to a 17-year-old girl. Weiner also said Friday he would be back in D.C. on Monday to get back to work when Congress convenes, despite calls by at least nine Congress members and three senators for him to step down—and a pending ethics investigation.
