Casey Anthony refused to allow her mother, Cindy Anthony, to visit her in jail Friday, a Florida corrections official told CNN. The rebuff came just three days after Casey was acquitted of murdering her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee. Casey also refused to see her mother in the weeks before the trial began in May. In Casey’s trial, Cindy testified for both the prosecution and the defense, and some of Cindy and Casey’s previous conversations from jail were entered into evidence. Cindy was the first to call police and alert them to Caylee’s disappearance. She also testified for the defense that she had been the one to do Internet searches for “chloroform”—which punched major holes in the prosecution’s case against Casey.
