Governor Scott Walker can breathe a sigh of relief: Wisconsin Republicans held control of the state senate after Democrats picked up just two of six seats in Tuesday's recall elections. The GOP now enjoys a narrow 17-16 majority, although it could boost its margin next week when two Democratic state senators face recall votes. Turnout was high at 63 percent, compared with 55.5 percent April's election.
