Maybe there is hope for a peace agreement. Reuters reports that the Libyan rebels met with officials from the Gaddafi regime in Tunisia Sunday. The news comes as rebels celebrated entrance into the key city of Zawiya, a former stronghold of Gaddafi, and threaten to cut off a major supply route. Fighters hoisted their flag in the center of town and chanted triumphantly, though they said there were still forces loyal to Gaddafi in Zawiya, including snipers. They said the capital of Tripoli was their next target, once Zawiya was fully under their control. The Libyan government, however, has disputed this claim, saying that pro-Gaddafi forces have quelled the rebel offensive. Gaddafi went on Libya television, calling for supporters to "get ready for the fight."
