Netanyahu said in his weekly cabinet meeting that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's decision to seek statehood through the U.N. Security Council bypasses negotiations with Israel, and put the blame for stalling peace talks squarely on the Palestinians. The Palestinians say they are not convinced of his commitment to peace.
