The Herman Cain campaign is trying a new tactic in fighting allegations of sexual harassment: buying Google ads. Since the Republican candidate’s press conference yesterday, searches for “Herman Cain harassment” and similar terms bring up www.CainTruth.com, a site that denies the harassment claims. Meanwhile, conservative pundits and former Cain staffers are calling for the resignation of Cain’s chief of staff, Mark Block, over the campaign’s handling of the allegations. Last night Block claimed one of the alleged harassment victims was the mother of a Politico reporter, but it turned out the two were unrelated and the reporter no longer works for Politico. Sharon Bialek, the first woman to come forward publicly and accuse Cain, says Cain is lying when he says he doesn’t know her and that she met him as recently as a month ago at a Tea Party rally.
