Some good news for Occupy Wall Street: former Marine Scott Olsen has been released from the hospital after being injured in clashes with police last month. In a blog post, a friend of Olsen's said he is "still struggling with speech, but is attempting conversations without having the writing instrument out," which he has been using for communication. A friend tells Reuters that he is focused on healing but is "following the Occupy protests closely, as well as the vets march against police brutality today." Protesters say Olsen was struck in the head with a tear-gas canister during the Occupy Oakland protests on Oct. 25.
