Despite cool temperatures, light wind, and otherwise ideal weather conditions for runners, two people died at the Philadelphia Marathon Sunday. While all runners must be registered to partake, there is no required qualifying time to run the race. Most of the course runs along the Schuylkill River, and goes through the city. The names of those who died have not been released. New Yorker Folisho Tuko, of Ethiopian descent, won the men’s race in just under two hours and 20 minutes.
